Return & Refund Policy – Amish Roots Bulk Foods

Thank you for shopping with Amish Roots Bulk Foods. We take pride in the quality of our products and want you to feel confident in your purchase. Due to the nature of food products, we have specific guidelines for returns and refunds, outlined below.

Returns Eligibility

Because we sell food and grocery items, returns are only accepted under the following conditions:

  • The item must be unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging

  • The return request must be submitted within 30 days of delivery

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt) is required

🚫 Opened, partially used, tampered-with, or unsealed food items are NOT eligible for return or refund due to food safety regulations.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders

If you receive an order that is:

  • Damaged during shipping

  • Defective

  • Incorrect (wrong product or quantity)

You must contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photos of the product and packaging

Once verified, we will offer one of the following at our discretion:

  • A replacement

  • Store credit

  • A full refund

Non-Returnable & Non-Refundable Items

The following are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Opened or used food items

  • Items with broken seals or compromised packaging

  • Products returned after 30 days

  • Gift cards (if applicable)

  • Products returned without proof of purchase

Return Process

To request a return:

  1. Email reuben@amishrootsbulk.com with your order number and reason for your request

  2. If approved, you will receive return instructions and a return address

  3. Ship the item back securely using tracking

📦 Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item).

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • You will be notified of approval or rejection within 5–10 business days

  • Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 7–14 business days

  • Banks and credit card companies may take additional time to post the refund

If your return does not meet our policy requirements, the refund will be denied and the item may be returned to you at your expense.

Order Cancellations

  • Orders may be canceled only if they have not yet shipped

  • Once an order has shipped, it must follow the return process above

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are damaged, defective, or incorrect. If approved, an exchange will be issued at no additional cost.

Policy Changes

Amish Roots Bulk Foods reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on our website.
